Fayemi, Amaechi, Ezekwesili, Utomi, Others For Young And Emerging Leaders Symposium

Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, his Rivers State counterpart, Mr Rotimi Amaechi and the World Bank Vice President for Africa, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili , are among leading speakers at this year’s Nigerian Symposium for Young and Emerging Leaders, holding at the Muson Centre, Onikan , Lagos on Monday, March 19th, 2012.

According to the programme released by the organizers of the event, Dr Fayemi will be making presentation to the youth- dominated audience on the topic : ” Is it Possible to Stand Out in Government?- Civil Servants, Politicians, Technocrats”.  Other speakers listed for  the session include, a former Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Governor Amaechi, Prof Pat Utomi and Senior Special Adviser  to the President on Research and Strategy, Mr. Oronto Douglas.

Other speakers at the event include Minister of Youth , Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi , Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Dr Matthew Hassan Kukah; C.E.O of Channels Television, Mr John Momoh and the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu.

Fayemi, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olayinka Oyebode, hailed the organizers of the event, saying that investing  in the future of the teeming youths  of  the country cannot be quantified in terms of  naira and kobo.
