The Special Adviser on Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Mr. Kayode Jegede, has restated the commitment of the Fayemi Administration to the provision of portable water and regular electricity supply in the state
Mr. Jegede who made the assertion at a 3-day capacity building retreat for management staff at the Bureau of infrastructure holding at Igbara–Oke, Ondo State noted the provision of portable water supply and electricity supply were top priorities of the present administration.
The Special Adviser said the state government is committed to the provision of massive building projects and  basic infrastructure that will improve the lives of the citizens of the state.
He said Government wishes to turn the state into land of opportunities that is driven by highly skilled personnel Jegede noted that the objective of the retreat has to enhance improved service delivery to the people of the state.

In his remarks,at the retreat state head of Service, Mr. Bunmi Famosaya noted that Civil Servants as drivers of government policies should equip themselves with modern technology to enhance their performances.
Famosaya said that various retreats organized by the state government was a strategy for transforming the Civil Service.
He noted that for the state to have an efficient and effective civil service, the staff must be incorruptible and be willing to learn at all times.

He charged civil servants to make loyalty and dedication to duties their watchwords.
Some of the participants, including the Chairman of the State Water Corporation, Engr.Bode Adetunji and Mrs Bamidele Owoeye said the retreat will help enhance their efficiency and bring new ideas to the service delivery in Ekiti State.
They expressed optimism that with constant training, a robust interaction between the civil Service and political office holders, dividends of democracy will be delivered to the people while the state civil service will be the envy of others in the country
