Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has described the late evangelist and founder of the World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM), Prophet T.O. Obadare as “inimitable legend of Christian faith whose impact would continue to continued to be felt by mankind”.

Fayemi in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Olayinka Oyebode, also described Obadare as a cleric who had no equal and made Jesus Christ as his source of inspiration despite being physically challenged.
The governor remarked that Obadare fought a good fight of faith, finished his course and kept the faith which he received from the Almighty God and shared with humanity.
Fayemi said the late preacher of God’s undiluted word never departed from the path laid by his mentor and founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Apostle Joseph AYO Babalola. He said Obadare’s death ought to be celebrated because his ministry was never tainted by any scandal for more than 60 years that he served in the vineyard of God.
The governor urged contemporary and upcoming Christian ministers to emulate Obadare who was passionate about soul winning and never pursued filthy lucre.
The legacies, left by Obadare, Fayemi added, would continue to live after him as he had found his way into the Hall of Fame of great men of God who laboured hard in the ministry before winning the crown prepared by God for the faithful.
“Prophet Obadare was an inimitable legend of the Christian faith whose impact would continue to be felt by mankind.
“This great man of God held the whole nation spellbound with his oratorical prowess, sound knowledge of the Bible and preaching of the truth on the major radio and television stations in the country.
“He was an efficient organizer of crusades and revivals where he reached out to ordinary people and was used by God to deliver the oppressed and minister to the needs of the people.
“Baba has lived a fulfilled life and Nigeria is proud to have produced this global citizen whose impact reverberated across the globe in his eventful lifetime”, Fayemi said.
