Fayose Charged Lawyers in Ministry of Justice to be Proactive in Discharging Their Duties

The Ekiti State Government is to sponsor executive bill that will mandate the appropriate authority to have a product of the ministry of Justice as permanent secretary and solicitor general.

Governor Ayodele Fayose gave the hint during an interactive meeting with lawyers from Ekiti State Ministry of Justice in Ado.

He noted that the beneficiary of the law must have spent at least 15 years in the Ministry.

The Governor added that such move would encourage the workers in the Ministry to put in their best for the betterment of the State.

Speaking on their demands, the Governor promised to financially support  them within availability of the state resources on their coming 2017 Bar Conference.

The Governor who said he wants considerable improvement from lawyers in the Ministry urged them to make themselves more available, noticed and visible.

Responding, the Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General Ministry of Justice, Mr Babatope Ojo described the meeting as first of its kind.

He thanked the governor for sponsoring the bill that will elevate workers in the Ministry.
