Instillment of quality education in the present younger generation has been described as panacea towards achieving the much craved developed and technology driven Nigeria.
Ekiti state governor, chief Ayodele Fayose stated this while inaugurating the state government international school newly established in Afao Ekiti.
He said the construction of the international academy was informed by the desire to equipped the future leaders with necessary educational skills required to build modern societies.
The governor maintained that the school, built in serene environment is well equipped with international standard modern facilities that would make learning conducive for teachers and students.
The governor called on the incoming administration to see the institution as the state project and ensure its proper maintenance.
Chief Fayose also charged Afao community to see security of the institution as part of their responsibilities.
The school is presently having 36 teachers, 2 vice principals and one principal while only one student out of the two hundred who had obtained the school’s admission forms had registered.
