The Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Femi Ajayi has reaffirmed the commitment of Fayemi-led administration to proper implementation of 2019 Economic Budget of the State.
Mr. Femi Ajayi gave the assurance during Budget Reconciliation Committee meeting on January – May 2019 Budget Review held in his office in Ado-Ekiti.
He said that the present administration is committed to transparent and effective financial management, adding that proper implementation of the Budget will have positive effect on the life of the people of the State.
The Commissioner who reiterated that the year 2019 budget has been strategically configured around the 5 developmental agenda of Fayemi government to rejuvenate the economy of Ekiti State and bring succor to the people said that all efforts would be mobilized to ensure its full implementation.
Mr. Femi Ajayi also commended the Ministries, Departments and Agency for working in tandem with the plan of the government so far and charged them to put more efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the 2019 budget for overall socio-economic development of the state.
