As part of efforts to increase the number of beneficiaries of the Youth in Commercial Agriculture Development Programme (YCAD), the Ekiti State Government will on Tuesday 29th April, 2014 conduct a first level interview for interested youths in the state.
A statement from the state Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources indicated that the interview will hold at the state secretariat in Ado Ekiti from 9am.
The statement however stressed that only those who have obtained expression of interest forms would be screened and advised prospective participants who are yet to collect the forms to do so before the commencement of the interview in order to benefit from the dividends of the scheme.
Reiterating the resolve of the State Government to create more jobs through the scheme, the statement said government would build on the impressive record of 15,000 direct and indirect jobs created through the programme since inception.
It advised youths in the state to take advantage of the concept to improve their lots by registering for the scheme, stressing that YCAD is without prejudice to political affiliation and devoid of religious bias.
