The Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso Omotoso, today received in audience, the leadership of the Radio Theater, Television and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) in her office in Ado Ekiti, with the view to Synergize with government in projecting their activities.
Mrs Omotoso charged leadership of the union to always ensure professionalism in the discharge of their duties to the state, adding that constant training for radio workers should be considered in order to keep up with trends.
Omotoso who once served as the union’s Chapter Chairman in the state expressed appreciation to the union’s State Executives for their dedication and commitment towards sustaining the Ekiti state chapter of the union.
In his response, the State Chairman, Mr Taiwo Falae appreciated the SSA for the warm reception and saluted Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the establishment of community communications office.
Falae commended Governor Oyebanji for the ongoing rehabilitation of some major roads across the state, prompt payment of workers’ salary, payment of gratuity and many more.
The Rattawu chairman, revealed that the union is ready to collaborate with government in communicating government activities, policies and programs for the benefit of the general public.
He however urged the state government to look into the requests of the union for positive consideration.
