REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI): PREQUALIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION VENDORS FOR WATER SUPPLY, SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH) PROGRAMME

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities is leading the reform of Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Ekiti State with the support of the World Bank under the Sustainable Urban and Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (SURWASH) program.
The Program Development Objective (PDO) is to increase access to water, sanitation and hygiene services and strengthen the sector institutions in Ekiti State among other participating states in Nigeria.
To facilitate the contracting processes, MIPU is planning to create a database of prequalified vendors to be invited to tenders for construction works for 2024-2025. These will include different types of construction projects managed by Ekiti Water and Sewerage Company (EKWSC), Ekiti State Small Towns and Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Agency (EKSTRUWASA), and Ekiti State Water and Sanitation Regulatory Agency (EK-WASRA). The projects and services are ranging from small construction (such as construction WASH facilities – boreholes and toilets with hand washing, renovation of WASH facilities, replacement of pipes) to large construction (such as construction of water supply scheme with treatment plant, laying of transmission and distribution pipelines ) .
