EKSG Set To Establish 7 Ambulance Bays

The Ekiti State Government is to establish seven ambulance bays across the state as part of efforts to make healthcare accessible to all and take care of other emergencies.

The State Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr. Wole Olugboji, who made this known during a familiarization visit to the Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, Ekiti State command in Ado-Ekiti.
According to him, the ambulance bays would be located at Ago-Aduloju and Fayose Market in Ado-Ekiti, Igbara-Odo, Ifaki, Itawure, Otun and Omuo to serve the interest of the people in the three senatorial districts of the state.
The Commissioner stressed that, the State Government is out to partner other agencies of Government to carry out specific functions that would make life worthwhile for the people.
Dr. Olugboji advised motorists in the state to obey traffic regulations and carry out regular maintenance of their vehicles to reduce road accidents to its barest minimum in the state.
Meanwhile, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ekiti State Command CDR Kumyen has pledged the support of the Commission to the proposed Security and Safety Summit in Ekiti State.
Mr. Kumyen added that now that the country is faced with series of security challenges, the proposed security and safety summit in the state is a welcome development.
