The Death has been announced of Mr Chris Fajemifo, of the Ekiti State Ministry of Information and Civic Orientation.
He was until his death the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Ministry.
Late Fajemifo died in a ghastly motor accident along the Akure- Ilesa express way on Tuesday June 12. He was aged 57.
The late Fajemifo who was a former President of the student’s Union of the University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife also served as the Chairman of the Ekiti Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists between 2005 and 2008. He was a renowned broadcaster, Journalist, Human Rights Activist and a public affairs analyst during his life time.
The late Fajemifo also a former Director of News and Current Affairs of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State.
He is survived by a wife and children. Burial arrangements will be announced later.
