EKSG Summer Vocation Training For Students Begins On Monday

The second edition of a 4–week summer Holiday Vocational Training for JSS3, SSSl-3 and Technical Colleges students organised by the Ekiti State Government will commence on 20th August, 2012.
A statement from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology indicates that the training will take place at Government Technical College, Ikole-Ekiti in Ekiti North Senatorial District, Government Technical College, Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti Central Senatorial District and St Louis Grammar School, Ikere-Ekiti in Ekiti South Senatorial District.
Participants at the 4-week programme will be trained in vocations such as Barbing/Hairdressing Soap-making/Cosmetology, Catering services, Event Management and Bead-making as well as Textile work/Batik/Aso-Oke Weaving, Mat-weaving, Information and Communication Technology.
The students are expected to obtain the registration forms from the three designated centres and Area Education offices in Ado, Ikole and Ikere-Ekiti.
