TSC Chairman Cautions Students Against Truancy And Laziness

The Chairman of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Prince Bayo Adeniran has cautioned students in public schools in the state against lawlessness, laziness, truancy and lateness to school.

Prince Adeniran who gave the warning while monitoring activities in schools in Irepodun/Ifelodun and Ikere Local Government Areas of the state, explained that the exercise became imperative on assumption of school for the second term academic work.
The Chairman stressed the determination of the Commission to ensure that there is no unnecessary vacuum in school curriculum in the New Year.
Reiterating the commitment of the Fayemi-led administration to the provision of a conducive teaching and learning environment in public schools in the state, Adeniran charged both teachers and students to work assiduously towards achieving the desired level of educational standard in the state, emphasising the need to justify government’s huge investment in the sector.

He extolled the virtue of maintaining a clean environment and conducting meaningful test which would allow for a proper continuous
assessment of the students.
