The Chairman of Ekiti State House of Assembly Commission, Chief George Ojo, has announced the appointment of Mr. Tola Esan as the Acting Clerk of the House.
Chief Ojo who made the announcement in Ado-Ekiti said that the appointment was part of the re-organisation embarked upon by the Commission. He enjoined the staff to support the Acting Clerk to achieve success in the legislative arm of government in Ekiti State.
The Commission Chairman also challenged them to make quality service their watchword in working towards the realisation of the eight point agenda of the state government.
Mr. Tola Esan who until the appointment was the Executive Secretary of the House of Assembly Commission. He hails from Ilawe – Ekiti in Ekiti South West Local Government Area of the state.
Chief Ojo subsequently announced Mr. Luke Oluwafemi who was the Deputy Clerk (Legislative Matters) as the new Executive Secretary of the Commission.
In his reaction, the Acting Clerk, Mr. Tola Esan enjoined staff of the House to be more committed to their duties. Mr. Esan also counseled the staff to shun partisan politics and continue to exhibit high sense of discipline in the service.
