Only Competent Teachers Would Teach In Public Schools – Adeniran

The Chairman of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Prince Bayo Adeniran has reiterated the resolve of the state government to allow only competent teachers to teach in public secondary schools in the state. Prince Adeniran stated this in Ado Ekiti shortly after the oral interview conducted for re-deployed local government staff that possessed professional certificates in teaching. The Chairman said that 501 staff re-deployed from the local councils partook in the written and oral examinations. Adeniran added that the results would soon be collated for final approval. The Director of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Commission, Mr. Funso Omowaye explained that only those with University degree in Education and NCE did the examination.
