Ekiti State Commissioner for Culture, Arts and Tourism, Chief Ronke Okusanya has called on tourists and prospective investors to visit the state to appreciate its unique culture and business opportunities.
Speaking in Lagos at the end of the just concluded Black Heritage Festival, Chief Okusanya also assured of safety of lives and property, noting that state is known for its prevailing peace.
Commending the state’s contingent to the cultural festival, the Commissioner described their performance as spectacular and educative.
She however noted that it could not have been otherwise because of the rich cultural heritage of the state.
The festival Ambassador from Brazil, Dr. Elisa Larkin Nasimento described the performance of Ekiti State Contingent as educative, noting that the culture of Ekiti and Brazil are similar.
The initiator of the Festival, Professor Wole Soyinka who was represented by the Performance Director of the Festival, Mr. Peter Badejo expressed appreciation to the state’s contingent for their brilliant performances.
