Ekiti West Caretaker Chairman Charges Political Office-Holders.

The Caretaker Chairman of Ekiti-West Local Government, Mr. Ropo Famubode has called on political office-holders to imbibe a selfless attitude aimed at delivering the dividends of democracy to the electorates.
Speaking during the swearing-in of the newly appointed supervisors of the Caretaker Committee of the council, Mr. Famubode stressed the need for the new appointees to live up to expectation, adding that only a good character aimed at ensuring service delivery will showcase them as worthy ambassador of the state government.
Mr. Famubode stressed that the appointees must work very hard to ensure that the people feel their impact positively emphasising that indolence and other vices must be eschew if they are to fulfil the mandate of the state government at the grassroots.
He charged people in the area to contribute their quota to the development of their communities, adding that prompt payment of all rates and taxes would assist government to provide satisfy the needs of the people.
Earlier, the Secretary of the Council, Mr. Tai Oguntayo charged the appointees to attach utmost seriousness to the tasks before them, admonished them to continually support the state government in its quest to make life better for the citizenries at the grassroots.
