NLC Hails Ekiti Transformation Under Fayemi

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has hailed the physical transformation being witnessed in Ekiti State under the leadership of Governor Kayode Fayemi.

The NLC President, Mr. Abdulwaheed Omar, in a letter to the Governor and made available to journalists on Tuesday, said the recent hosting of the National Administration Council (NAC) by the state afforded the labour leaders the opportunity of witnessing Fayemi’s developmental projects.

The NLC boss expressed optimism that the electorate in Ekiti State will reward the governor with another four years in office after he (Fayemi) might have completed his first term in office.

Omar said: “Your Excellency, our stay in Ekiti State availed us the opportunity to witness first hand your developmental projects.

“It is instructive that you have placed emphasis on human capital development. Your stewardship of Ekiti State has within a short period of time transformed the state.

“This is a cherished value of identifying with the masses and the poor throughout your life as an activist.

“The Congress and working people of Nigeria have no doubt that you have more service to render and we believe the Ekiti working people will return you back to service after your first term.

“While appreciating your kind gesture for making us feel at home in Ekiti State, please, be assured that we will always be ready to give support to your admi it’s ration and the people of Ekiti State”, the statement added.
