Social Security Scheme Without Political Coloration – Commissoner

Ekiti State Commissioner for Labour, Productivity and Human Capital Development, Mr. Oluwole Ariyo has re-stated that the Social Security Scheme initiated by the Fayemi-led Administration is without political coloration.

Mr. Ariyo made the assertion during the payment of April 2013 N5,000 monthly stipend to the elderly citizens of Ikere Local Government Area of the state.
Delivering the Governor’s speech to the elderly citizens, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Governor’s Office (SAGOV), Otunba Biodun Akin-Fasae described the stipend as their right and not a privilege.

Chief Fasae who urged parents to warn their wards against thuggery and other social vices, expressed appreciation to Ikere people for their support and advised the aged to use the money to take care of themselves.

One of the recipients, Madam Beatrice Ogunyemi who expressed gratitude to Governor Fayemi on behalf of others, declared their support for the second term bid of the Governor.
