Adelabu Expresses Delight At Pupils, Teachers Dressing And Conduct

Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Modupe Adelabu flanked on the left by Adeeko Kayinsola and Ajayi Bamidele, while on the right by Ann Kolawole and Pelumi Bamidele, all pupils of Police Children School, Ado-Ekiti when the pupils accompanied Executives of the School's Parents Teachers Association to pay a courtesy call on the deputy governor in her office.

Ekiti State Government says it will continue to provide necessary infrastructures and equiped its schools with more teaching-learning instructional materials to make schools in the state to make them more attractive and conducive for both the teachers and the pupils.

The state Deputy Governor, Professor Modupe Adelabu restated this while playing host to the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and pupils of Police Children Primary School, Ado-Ekiti who paid her a courtesy visit in her office in Ado.

 Professor Adelabu who was quite impressed and physically elated by the dressing and conduct of the pupils, teachers and even members of the PTA in attendance commended the teachers and parents for their ways of dressing and comportment which she believed have positively influence the pupils.

 She reiterated that the administration of Governor kayoed Fayemi will continue to do everything within its power to restore the glory of education which is the pride of the state while urging teachers and parents to continue to play their roles as the models which the pupils emulate.

Adelabu also re-emphasize that the government will continue to partner with PTA, alumni associations and other relevant stakeholders to make Ekiti schools shining models for others states in the country.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association of the Police Children Primary School, Ado-Ekiti, Mr. Ojo Aloba said the school PTA deem it fit to visit the Deputy Governor to congratulate her on her appointment and to also express the appreciation of the school to her for using her good office as the Chairperson of State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB to develop the school.

He said the pupils, teachers and parents in Ekiti will ever be grateful to the administration of Governor Kayode Fayemi for restoring the glory of education and giving top priority to the welfare of teachers and other civil servants in the state.
