Adeniran Tasks Teachers As New Academic Session Commences In Ekiti

As schools in Ekiti State resumed for a new academic session, the Chairman of the State Teaching Service Commission, Prince Bayo Adeniran has charged teachers to complement the State Government’s effort at attaining high standards of Education in Ekiti.
The Chairman who gave the charge during an inspection tour to some schools at Ikere-Ekiti expressed satisfaction with the mode of dressing of teachers saying it’s a display of leadership by example.

Prince Adeniran however urged the teachers to ensure a clean environment conducive for teaching and learning stressing that all overgrown weed due to the long holiday should be attended to in order to attain an hygienic and clean environment.

Stressing the importance of punctuality and discipline in schools, the Chairman directed teachers to always sign the time books and fill their subject diaries to boost efficiency.

He also urged the teachers to always exhibit good example for their students to emulate, emphasizing that they should not wait for monitoring officials to prompt them before living up to expectation. In their response, the Principals of Amoye Grammar School, Mrs. Titilope Fatuase and her counterpart at the Ikere High School, Mrs. Abiola Ayodele  pledged on behalf of their teachers to continually support the efforts of government to move the state forward.
