Ado LG To Commission Ultra-Modern Secretariat In October

Ado Local Government is to Commission a new Ultra – Modern Council Secretariat Complex to mark the third year anniversary of the Fayemi –
led administration in Ekiti State.
Speaking at a public forum in Ado – Ekiti, the Caretaker Chairman of the Council, Hon. Tope Olanipekun, said the Secretariat Complex was already at completion stage and would soon be ready for commissioning.
Olanipekun who said the council was striving towards replicating the 8-point agenda of the state government at the grassroots, hinted that his administration has embarked on the renovation and construction of culverts and drainages across various communities in the council area.
He added that the Council has also embarked on the training of women on different vocations, grading of intra-township roads, and
renovation of health care facility at Oke – Oniyo as well as the revitalization of the council’s earthmoving equipment.

The caretaker Chairman stressed the commitment of his council to supporting the state government and making the 8-point agenda more
visible at the grassroots.
Describing the Fayemi –led administration as the best in the history of the state, he noted that the basic needs of the citizenries had
been well captured in the 8-point agenda and consequently being domestically implemented by the state government.

Olanipekun said this has translated to improved living standard as infrastructure and manpower development had been given a boost by the
present government.

He solicited the people support for the second term bid of the governor, noting such gesture would ensure that more developmental projects are undertaken while the existing ones are sustained.
