South-West Integration To Improve Economy Of Member States – Afuye

Ekiti State Commissioner for Integration and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. Funminiyi Afuye has said that the South West Integration will improve the economy of Member State.

The Commissioner made the assertion while featuring on a state owned Television programme tagged “My Agenda”. The Commissioner said that the South West Integration was not to play politics but to enhance economic development in the region, stressing that it does not exclude any state in the south west irrespective of the political leaning.

According to him, the Integration was to develop and boost all sectors of the economy of member states including education, Culture, Infrastructure.
Adding that the integration would also empower youths through sports activities, the Commissioner disclosed that a sport festival would soon be organised in the region.
