Fayemi Assures Ekiti Monarchs of an Enabling Environment

Traditional rulers in Ekiti state have been challenged to adopt stringent measures that would prevent any break down of law and order in thier communities.

Governor Kayode Fayemi gave the challenge in Ado Ekiti at a dialogue meeting with members of the state traditional Council.

The Governor noted that as a custodian of culture and tradition,it became imperative for the monarchs to assist govt through peace advocacy to reduce the rate of insecurity in the state.

Dr Fayemi observed that his administration would soon embark on assessment of abandoned projects in each communities with a view to completing them within the available resources.

He asked for thier advice and wise counsels as such were necessary to enable the present govt succeed and make required achievement as promised during electioneering.

In a response the chairman state council of traditional rulers and Oloye of Oye Ekiti Oba Oluwole Ademolaju assured the Governor of thier total support to ensure overall development of the state.
