The Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Ekiti State, Dr Moji Yaya-Kolade has described the governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi as an Ekiti son who has passion to move Ekiti forward especially in the area of health care delivery.
She made this assertion when the management board of EKSUTH paid a courtesy call on her office in Ado.
Dr Moji Kolade said Ekiti state would soon be in the fore front of health delivery in Nigeria and even globally because the Fayemi led administration wants the best for the state of land of honor. She said the only thing needed from health care providers is to be positive and pro-active in order to get to the next level.
“In couple of months now, patients would be referred to EKSUTH from all the neighboring states because Ekiti state would soon be the hob of medicine and health care delivery in Nigeria”.
Earlier,the Chairman of EKSUTH board Dr.Dare Teniola highlighted the purpose of the courtesy visit, saying the board was at the commissioner’s office to welcome her and promised to have a good working relationship with the ministry of health.
He maintained that the coming of the commissioner as a professional would mean a new dawn for Ekiti state in the area of good health care service delivery.
