Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice Ayodeji Daramola has charged Ekiti indigenes who have just been called to the Bar to imbibe the ethics of the legal profession.
Justice Daramola gave the charge in Abuja that the work of an advocate goes requires more than brilliance but also good character which can earn them recognition in the society.
The Jurist who explained that there is no substitute for hard-work urged them to not relent intheir pursuit for excellence.
In his remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Ganiyu Owolabi urged the new wigs to be determined, useful to the society and be on top in their professional calling.
Owolabi stated that those who have excelled in the profession had made headways because of their commitment tio hardwork, dedication and prayers.
Also speaking at the event, an Ekiti indigene, Architect Dipo Ajayi encouraged the new lawyers to imbibe the culture of service to the people while discharging their duties.
Ajayi expressed confidence that the lawyers would sustain Ekiti prestige in the profession and advised them to set targets that would make them get to the top of the proffession.
Mr Tayo Owolabi and Tokunbo Aladejare who spoke on behalf of the new lawyers promised to contribute meaningfully to the development of the State and would not let the State down.
