Infrastructure: We ‘ll Focus More On Community Development In 2013 – Fayemi

Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has said that his administration will focus attention on opening up the various communities in the State for rapid development through road infrastructure in 2013.

The Governor stated this in Isan Ekiti during the town’s 2013 Unity Day celebration that the administration places premium on the even and rapid development of the communities.

Dr. Fayemi added that the Government would give attention to road infrastructure so as to attract investors to the State and provide job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth population.
He said the administration has already embarked on various road projects that have opened up the State to investors while Obo-Ayegunle – Kwara boundary road will be reconstructed for easy access from Ekiti to Kwara State.
Governor Fayemi assured that the administration will continue to attend to the yearning of the citizenry.

Meanwhile, the Governor has presented the Instrument of Office and Staff of Authority to the Oniye of Iye Ekiti, Oba Agboola Adeleye-Oni.

Presenting the instrument of Office, Fayemi commended the process that led to the appointment of the monarch; saying that it was devoid of political colouration and manipulation.
He urged the monarch to use his office to serve the people of his domain with  sacrifice and diligence.
While assuring that a General Hospital will be put in place in Iye Ekiti to cater for the health needs of the people, the Governor said he would stop at nothing in serving the masses.
