Ekiti state will observe the year 2012 International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) on Thursday 20th December, 2012.
A statement from the office of the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Chief Folorunso Olabode stated that the programme would be held at Christ’s School play ground in Ado Ekiti.
According to the statement, special schools for persons living with disabilities in the sixteen local government areas of the state as well as the three associations of Persons with Disabilities are each expected to send ten persons to represent them at the programme.
