Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has described the First Lady, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, as God’s special and wonderful gift to mankind.
Otunba Egbeyemi in a statement congratulating the wife of the Governor on her 57th birthday also described the celebrant as a wonderful, kind, compassionate, and special woman of substance who has positively touched lives within and outside Ekiti State.
The Deputy Governor said that Erelu Fayemi has made a great difference in the lives of children, women, the vulnerable people, the physically challenged, and the less privileged.
He noted that the advocacy in Ekiti State, Nigeria, and other parts of the world has drawn attention to the plight of the girl child, women, and the aged and what should be done to give them succour.
The Deputy Governor said it was no surprise that she was recently celebrated as one of the 100 eminent African Women in Development and had earlier been named among the 50 most influential African women.
Otunba Egbeyemi said the Governor’s wife was instrumental in having more women in political offices, which he described as unprecedented in the political history of the state.
“We thank God for the blessings of these past years and pray that He continues to bless you with good health and strength to continue to impact lives.”, the Deputy Governor said.
