Ekiti State Head of Service (HOS), Mrs. Peju Babafemi has expressed delights at the construction of more office accommodation in the Secretariat Complex, saying this would solve some of the challenges of office accommodation confronting Civil Servants.
Mrs. Babafemi during a tour of the on-going construction of abandoned buildings in the State Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, described the projects as heart-warming for workers in Ekiti State, saying that the completion of the over 200 office rooms in the buildings with state-of the-art equipment will certainly reduce the office accommodation challenges to some extent.
Babafemi thanked Governor Kayode Fayemi for taking decisive steps towards improving workers’ welfare and ensure their comfort at all times.
She noted that the serene and beautiful environment of the office accommodation will certainly motivate occupants to perform better in the discharge of their duties when fully completed.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Barrister Dele Agbede who conducted the HOS round the projects said that the projects are expected to be ready for use in October 2020.
