Following the successful establishment of the State Mobile Molecular Laboratory and successful trials, the Government of Ekiti State will begin random community testing starting with Ikere Ekiti LGA on July 1, 2020.
The random community testing will move from local government to local government according to a time-table that has already been drawn. This will enable government to determine the level of community infection in our local governments.
The health workers will also provide health checks for the vulnerable senior citizens to ensure any co-morbidity like high blood pressure, cholesterol or diabetes is well-managed and under control.
