Governor Fayemi appoints Adeniyi Familoni as Judge of the High Court, Ekiti State

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has appointed Barrister Adeniyi Familoni, Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Chieftaincy Affairs as Judge of the High court of Ekiti State.

The appointment follows the recommendation of the National Judicial Council which found Familoni suitable for the appointment.

Familoni began his career as a Legal Officer in the Ondo State Ministry of Justice in 1996, and later, Ekiti State Ministry of Justice where he, at various times, held offices as Director Law Review, Director Citizens Rights, Director Civil Litigations, and Director Public Prosecutions.

He was appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ekiti State Civil Service in April 2019 and posted to the Bureau of Chieftaincy Affairs.

Governor Fayemi will formally swear in Familoni on Tuesday 19th January at the Conference Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti by 10 am.
