Ekiti State indigenes who are interested in the direct short service commission of the Nigerian Navy can now apply for enlistment forms.
A release signed by the Permanent Secretary Cabinet and Special Services, Governor’s Office, Ado noted that applicants should be between 22 and 28 years of age by December 2012 except Doctors, Lawyers, Architects, Imams and Chaplains who should not be more than 30 years of age .
The statement added that interested candidates should not be less than 1.70 metres (for male) and 1.67 metres (for females) in height and should also possess a minimum of second class upper for holders of first degree and upper credit for HND holders.
All applications are to be made online to www.service.Nigeriannavy.gov.ng while Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
Aptitude test for candidates will be conducted on 23rd June, 2012 at 8.00 at Abuja, Bauchi, Enugu, Lagos, Port-Harcourt and Sokoto centres while application closes on 18th June, 2012.
