Reform Nation’s Aviation Sector – EKHA Charges FG

The Ekiti State House of Assembly has called on the Federal Government to urgently reform the nation’s aviation  sector.
Speaking under a Motion of |Public importance, at its special sitting to mark the first year anniversary of the Fourth Assembly in Ado, the lawmakers stressed the need for government to certify  aircrafts in the country to ascertain their  air worthiness.
The motion was moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Churchill Adedipe and was seconded by Hon. Ayodeji Odu called for a total overhaul of the Aviation  Industry in order to restore sanity to the sector.

A member of the House, Hon. Gbenga Odebunmi, representing Ekiti West Constituency l, called for the extension of the reform to roads in the country. He aligned with the position of Governors’ in the South West geopolitical zone on the need to urgently reconstruct and repair roads in the zone to check incessant road mishaps.The House condoled with the families of those that lost their lives in the Dana air crash and called for adequate compensation for them.
