Ekiti State Civil Service Commission Retreat For Staff Begins On Monday

Ekiti State Civil Service Commission is organising a-3- day retreat for staff of the commission from Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th June, 2012.

The Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Afolabi Ogunlayi who made this known while briefing newsmen in his office in Ado – Ekiti said that the retreat would enable government to discover the strength and weaknesses of the staff with a view to training them to improve their productivity and enhance their efficiency.

According to him, the retreat is also expected to make the workers to have positive attitude to work and better knowledge of filing and record keeping which are essential ingredients for efficient service delivery in the public service.
The 3 – day retreat which will hold at the Pope John Paul Pastoral Centre, Ado – Ikere road in Ado – Ekiti is expected to be declared open by the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
