EKSG Approves Construction Of Watch-Tower, Bore-holes For Ado Ekiti New Prison Site

Ekiti State Government has approved the construction of a watch-tower and the drilling of two (2) bore-holes for the new Ado Ekiti Prison complex.

The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Ganiyu Owolabi made this known during a courtesy call by the new State Comptroller of Prisons, Alhaji Tajudeen Aremu to his office in Ado.

Dr. Owolabi who stated that the present administration was ready to partner Federal agencies on programmes and projects  that would have direct impact on the lives of  the people of the state disclosed that the state government has donated a bus and a pick-up van for the new site.

Earlier, the State Comptroller of Prisons,  Alhaji Tajudeen Aremu had commended the state government for its regular assistance to the command.
    He requested for the more assistance of the state government in building a workshop where inmates could have vocational trainings.
