Ekiti Restates Comitment Of Conducive Environment For Investors

Ekiti State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the provision of an enabling environment that will attract local and foreign investors into the state.
The Chairman of the State Waste Management Authority, Hon. Bayo Morakinyo gave this assurance at a forum  in Ado-Ekiti.
Hon Morakinyo who condemned the dumping of refuse and human waste on the roads and drains, said that about ten people who were recently arrested for different environmental offences would soon be prosecuted.
The chairman stressed that people in Ado metropolis and Ikere should dispose their wastes through the waste managers handling house to house waste collection in their areas.
Earlier, Chief Wale Alade, a member of the Authority charged the people of Ado to provide  toilets in their residences. Chief Alade said people should support the beautification project of the present administration by desisting from dumping refuse on the major roads
