Ekiti State Government will soon embark on recruitment exercise to fill the vacant positions in the State Civil Service.
The Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Afolabi Ogunlayi who dropped the hint while chatting with newsmen in Ado Ekiti, explained that the Commission was currently holding series of meetings with all Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies
(MDAs) to determine the exact number of available vacant positions in the Civil Service. Alhaji Ogunlayi noted that the recruitment exercise would enhance efficiency in the public service.
On the just concluded promotion examination exercise for Civil Servants in the state, the Chairman noted that the exercise provided the affected Civil Servants the opportunity to refresh themselves on the Civil Service rules and other extant regulations guiding the Civil
Service.
