Fayemi Woos More Investors

Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has called on foreign investors to come to the State and partner with it for development.

The Governor made the call at the US-Nigeria Infrastructure conference held in Washington DC on Thursday.

Dr Fayemi who was represented at the conference by his Special Adviser on Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Mr Kayode Jegede said his administration had within the two years put in place various infrastructure to create enabling environment for the take off of investments.

He stated that he had assented to several bills that could encourage investors while his administration had commissioned road projects totalling over 150km even as some are still under construction.
The Governor added that development can only thrive in a peaceful environment hence the commitment of his administration to the security of lives and property of citizens.

At the conference were the Governors Peter Obi of Anambra,Ibrahim Kwakwanso of Kano and Almakura of Nassarawa State. Others are Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Ministers of Works, FCT, Water Resources,and  Foreign Affairs among others.
