Ekiti workers have been charged to cultivate the habit of gratitude to God in all situations and be dedicated to work this year so as to enjoy more blessings of God that will yield greater testimonies in all areas of their life at the end of the year.
Deputy Governor, Mrs. Funmi Olayinka gave the charge in her office at the special prayer session to mark the commencement of work in 2013, thanking God for His protection over every worker for individual and collective achievements recorded in 2012 by all members of staff.
She added that civil servants are the engine room and the backbone of any government that wants to be successful urging workers in her office to be more committed to their duties this year, adding that both God and men appreciate and reward diligence.
Earlier, Pastor Kehinde Ayegbusi in his word of exhortation admonished workers to be brave and pray for the uncommon wisdom from God that will enable them face and overcome the challenges they are likely to meet in the course of performing their duties in the year.
