Olayinka Reiterates Govt’s Commitment To Qualitative Education

Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Funmi Olayinka flanked on the right by wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi who delivered the 21st Convocation lecture of the College of Education, Ikere- Ekiti and the College Provost, Prof. Francisca Aladejana at the College auditorium, Ikere-Ekiti.

Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Funmi Olayinka has reiterated government’s commitment to qualitative education as part of a grand design to reclaim the virtues for which Ekitis were known.

In her remarks during the 21st convocation lecture of the State College of Education delivered at the College auditorium by the wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Olayinka submitted that the administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi was determined to ensure that youths of the State were provided with jobs if they were ready to work.

She lamented situations where people refuse to engage in mechanized farming as well taking up engagements with the various contractors hired by the government to bring about the reformation embarked upon by government.
Olayinka advised the graduands not to see their leaving school as automatic meal tickets, explaining to them that they must be prepared to strive to succeed in a world that is becoming very competitive by the day.
