The Chairman of the State Teaching Service Commission, Prince Bayo Adeniran made this known in Ado Ekiti during an interactive meeting with the executive Council of the State Chapter of the Association of Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS).
Prince Adeniran said the gesture was in line with the Vision of the Fayemi led administration on Transformation and Quality Service
Delivery in the education sector.
He stressed that active teaching classes would move the principals closer to centre of activities, adding that it would enhance effective supervision of both teachers and the students under them.
Emphasising that the gesture would comb laziness, lawlessness and all other forms of irresponsibility, the TESCOM boss reiterated the Commitment of the Fayemi led administration to instil discipline and move the education sector in the state to greater heights.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of TESCOM, Mr Bolu teachers in their schools unauthorised leave without proper approval.
According to him, unauthorised leave including sick leave, absence from duty and leave of absence must be duly approved by the Commission before principals could implement.
Responding, the President of ANCOPSS, Mr Oluwole Awolusi commended TESCOM for organising the interactive meeting and pledged the continued support of the association for government’s efforts at providing quality education for children in the State.
