The Ekiti State Chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), gets a new Executive Committee. According to a statement from the Office of Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, the Caretaker Chairman of Efon Local Government, Dr. Adio Folayan is the new Chairman of the Association.
The statement added that Hon. Ademola Atobaje of Ekiti East is the Secretary while Omooba Adegoroye Bamigboye of Ilejemeje emerged Treasurer and Hon. Bode Agbeleye of Ijero Local government is the new Public Relations Officer of the Association in the state. It enjoined the new executive committee members to partner with the Kayode Fayemi’s administration in order to make those in the grass roots continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
The statement stressed that they should use their new office to project the good image of the present administration. Responding on behalf of others, the new ALGON Chairman, Dr. Adio Folayan promised their unalloyed support for the present administration.
