Statiscal Association Commends Fayemi On Appointment Of Statistician General

Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has been commended for the appointment of Mr. Micheal Oguntimehin as the Statistician General (SG) for the Ekiti State Bureau of Statistics.
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the Ekiti State branch of the Nigerian Statistical Association, Mr. Julius Oladipo Aribilson, the association lauded the efforts of the Fayemi led administration taking the State to an enviable height.

Aribilson who stated that the appointment of the pioneering Statistician General was borne out of His Excellency’s passion for using Statistics as a tool to form government’s policies.
The Association’s scribe who described the appointment of Mr. Michael Oguntimehin as a round peg in a round hole, stressed that using reliable statistical data to formulate and implement government policies would guarantee success.

While pledging the co-operation of the association with the government, the Secretary assured that Mr. Oguntimehin would level up to his new responsibility, adding that the association would continually support him to ensure success.
