Ekiti State Commissioner for Works and Transportation, Mr. Sola Adebayo has described the 8-point agenda of the state government as a road map towards rapidly improving the general well-being of the people as well as attract investors.
Speaking at the Pope John Paul Pastoral Centre in Ado-Ekiti while delivering a paper on activities of his ministry at a one-day Civil Society/Media Engagement with the state government, Mr. Adebayo reiterated the commitment of the Fayemi-led administration to the factual delivery of dividend of democracy to Ekiti people through proper implementation of the 8-point agenda.
Mr. Adebayo who noted that one of the major objectives of the administration is to make all parts of the state accessible by major roads by 2014, assured that no stone would be left unturned towards achieving the desired goals.
According to him, the present administration will also turn the state into destination of choice for investors and tourists, adding that the vast human and natural resources available in the state would be fully harnessed towards achieving the aim of government.
He therefore charged all stakeholders to continually support the administration to ensure its success, adding that contractors in particular must be up and doing in order to deliver their contracts to specification and on schedule.
