EKSG Establishes New Cattle Market

Ekiti State Government has established a new Central Cattle Market at Ilokun, Ado-Ekiti.

Speaking in Ado- Ekiti at a meeting held with stakeholders in cattle business, the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. Babajide Arowosafe said that the market would promote cattle business and bring development at large.

The Commissioner advised them to pay their taxes and register their businesses to enable government have the actual data of people in cattle business in the state so as to guarantee their security.

He urged the stakeholders to co-operate with one another and comply with the rules and regulation of the market, adding that the state government would still expand the market so as to accommodate more cattle.
