The Local Government Joint Administrative Account Fund Committee has approved the release of fund to pay salaries of Local Government workers attached to traditional rulers in Ekiti State who missed the biometric exercise conducted by the state government.
The State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Mr. Paul Omotoso who made this known in Ado-Ekiti, said that the affected officers would collect their salaries manually from their respective local government offices.
Reiterating the commitment of the Fayemi led administration to the welfare of workers, Mr. Omotoso charged workers to reciprocate government’s gesture by living up to their responsibilities.
