Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has declared Wednesday, June 12th a public holiday in the state.
This is in commemoration of the June 12, 1993 election anniversary.
The June 12, 1993 Presidential election, won by the late Chief M.K.O. Abiola is regarded as the freest and fairest election in the history of the country.
