Local Government Service Commission Trains Workers For Efficiency

The Chairman of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Chief Ranti Adebisi has said that his Commission embarked on training
of workers in all cadres to enhance efficiency through Human Capital Development in the Local Government Service.

Chief Adebisi who made this clarification in Ado- Ekiti at a 2-day training workshop organized for Heads of Department in the Local
Government Service, said no stone would be left unturned towards developing the grassroots.

According to him, the focus of government in the development process includes improved health care delivery, eradication of poverty and
general improvement in the living standard of the people.

The LGSC Chairman who spoke through one of the commissioners in the commission, Otunba Akin Akomolafe enjoined the participants to take
advantage of government’s good gesture by participating actively in the workshop to achieve the desired result.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mr. Kunle Abegunde urged participants to utilize the knowledge gained at the workshop to effect successful implementation of government policies.
