The Project Manager of the Ekiti State Aids Control Agency (EKISACA), Dr. Doherty has charged all line ministries and other
stakeholders involved in the control of HIV/AIDS to work assiduously towards spreading intervention and services to all nook and cranny of the state.
Dr. Doherty who spoke through the Community Mobilisation Officer of EKISACA, Mr. Remi Ajayi at the 2nd quarter Line Ministries/SACA meeting in Ado- Ekiti tasked the Line Ministries to emulate the approach of EKISACA.

According to him, the agency recorded tangible achievements during the current fiscal year due to the embrace of new trends and approaches to reach all sectors of the society including the use of village square meetings and the palace health mission.

The EKISAC boss particularly lauded the initiative of the state Ministry of Information for involving the agency in its village
meetings.

He said the tactical approach has contributed immensely to reaching the people with the HIV/AIDS intervention programmes.

The Project Manager therefore called on other line ministries to emulate the Ministry of Information by tailoring their programmes towards providing robust platforms for HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testings (H.C.T.).

He promised the continued support of the Agency to the Ministries noting that logistics that would ensure they perform optimally would always be made available to them.
